Do you want to influence the transformations in our time's welfare development? We are looking for an engaged and secure project manager who wants to help shape the future of municipal health and medical care in the area of Good and Close Care.

The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Care Act.

Within the health and medical care department, we have nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, care assistants, assistive technology technicians, alarm administrators, developers, etc. We currently have 8 unit managers and 1 department manager leading the operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a project manager, you will facilitate several development and change projects aimed at transforming work methods and strengthening the conditions for more person-centered and close care. You will be an important person in the transformation and work closely with department management, unit managers, support teams, and employees within municipal health and medical care.

The assignment includes, among other things:

• Planning together with the managers, and then leading and following up on projects in the area of Good and Close Care.
• Supporting managers in development and change work.
• Creating good and trusting relationships that contribute to a safe and sustainable development process.
• Collaborating with other departments within the Social Administration as well as other municipal administrations.
• Ensuring good cooperation with the region and other external actors.

You will be an important part of a department-wide effort where your ability to create structure, engagement, and participation drives development forward.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education.
• Documented knowledge and experience in project management.
• Experience in change management or development work.

Experience from health and medical care or related fields is an advantage.

To succeed in the role, we see that you are relationship-building and attentive, with the ability to build trust in change processes. You work in a structured and driven manner, have a good overall view, and thrive in complex contexts where collaboration is an important part. You are communicative and adapt your message according to the audience and situation.
